Calling all volunteers! The CCC needs your help in Palgrave.

Goal: Raise safety by significantly improving visibility (sight lines) on the blind corners of section #4. (part of the main single track loop, also known as the ‘Final Chapter’)

What you’ll need:

  • Appropriate footwear (ie: no sandals, hiking boots are ideal)
  • Heavy work gloves to protect hands from sharp sticks, thorns and tree sap
  • Water and snacks
  • Bug spray
  • If you have them, please also bring small hand held pruning saws, clippers or shears (loppers)
  • Trail will be kept open: WATCH FOR RIDERS! (Signs will be posted at each end of this trail section)
  • Do not leave tools or any obstructions directly on the trail at any time
  • Please cut small trees flush to the ground or branches flush to the trunk. Tall stumps or stubby branches can be dangerous if a rider falls on them.
